Ghostbusters: Afterlife is the sequel to Ghostbusters II and not the same timeline as Ghostbusters: Answer The Call. Anticipated release date in the US is November 11, 2021.

The Ecto-1 was a 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor Futura Duplex (with ambulance/hearse conversion). The Ecto-1A had updated equipment on the same vehicle. The Ecto-1 hearse in the new Ghostbusters flick is actually the once-neglected Ecto-1A. The 2016 Ecto-1 was a 1984 Cadillac Fleetwood hearse.

Rose Tico was played by Kelly Marie Tran. Both the actress and character were victims of racist, sexist nerd backlash.

Polyamory / Ethical Non-Monogamy Terms:

  • Anchor Partner: A long-standing and typically (but not always) rather logistically entangled romantic relationship. Often used in a similar fashion to “Primary Partner”, but without the hierarchical (that is, primary/secondary/tertiary) language.

  • Metamour: The partner of one’s partner, with whom one does not share a direct sexual or loving relationship.

  • Nesting Partner(s): A live-in partner (or partners). This person may or may not be a primary partner, as well, but nesting partner is often used to replace the term primary partner while still describing a higher level of entanglement in order to avoid hierarchical language. The type of relationship may also be considered an Anchor Relationship. 

  • Polycule: A romantic network, or a particular subset of relationships within a romantic network, whose members are closely connected. Also used to describe a sketch or visualization of a romantic network, as these drawings often resemble the depiction of molecules used in organic chemistry. 

  • Triad: A polyamorous relationship composed of three people, typically all involved with each other. Also known as a throuple, thruple, or a trouple.
